`what's your story?;;
History:
Cecilia was born on a peaceful autumn day in Stratford, Connecticut, the second daughter of Laura and Liam Wenscombe, who were second- generation Welsh immigrants. In contrast to the time of her sister's birth, Cecilia's parents were enjoying from a stable economic state. Liam was Stratford's top defense attorney, while Laura spent her days as a renowned piano teacher.
During the early stages of her childhood, Cecilia was not very school savvy, preferring to doodle in her notebook or look out the window instead of paying attention to basic arithmetic and grammar. Her teachers complained about her often, and her parents tried in vain to get her to enjoy her studies. Cecilia was not one to be easily convinced, and continued causing turmoil among both her teachers and fellow classmates.
Cordelia, Cecilia's older sister, was considerably older than her, being more than eight years her senior. By the time Cecilia entered middle school, Cordelia was already a sophomore in college. From the looks of things, she would graduate with top honors.
Cecilia was never jealous of Cordelia, what with the latter being too much of a dreamer and optimist for Cecilia's liking. The one thing she did wish she had was a bit of her sister's eloquence. Cordelia was an amateur poet, and had the ability of making lies sound pretty, and the truth sound absolutely abhorrent.
Soon, Cecilia managed to make her way into her eighth grade debate team. She was the one who stepped in at the eleventh hour, being her team's top spinner.
Cecilia, with her recently obtained confidence, decided there was only one thing she wanted to grow up to be: an attorney. But she didn't want to be a defense attorney. No, she wanted to be in the middle of the action. She wanted to be a prosecuting attorney.
She decided to forget about American universities. She wanted to go abroad. And thus, Cecilia was accepted into Oxford. She caught on quickly with her studies; it was as if she had been born for this. Cecilia neglected all friends and acquaintances. That was what her textbooks were there for. Finally, after much hard work, Cecilia graduated; she was even chosen to be the speaker at her graduation ceremony. Now all she needed was a job.
She missed the states, and knew that was where she wanted to practice law. But little old Stratford would never do! She wanted adventure, and liveliness, and prestige. So she made her way to New York City, not knowing what the heck she was doing or where on Earth she'd go.
She became part of a small firm, being one of its leading trail lawyers. Things were looking up for Cecilia, and she was glad for that. She didn't ask for much; she was just glad to do what she loved to do. But somehow, someway, she ended up in the Attorney General's office. At first she was just a minor asset. However, with some perseverance and old tricks of the trade, Cecilia was soon promoted to Assistant Attorney General. Around this time, she started dating New York's Attorney General, Josh Holloway.
He was the first man who ever made her think seriously about marriage. However, there was only one person Cecilia was absolutely sure she'd walk through fire for. This person was Summer Cavendish. Her niece, had come to visit her during her vacations, and it was as if, for once, Cecilia had found someone she could truly call her best friend. Summer was smart, and lively, and seemed to make even the worst of days a bit brighter. She had even asked Summer to be her maid of honor at her wedding.
That was two months ago.
Cecilia told her sister to move away once the Killer emerged. But no; Cordelia had taken a liking to the little town called Cordova, and would not budge.
Cecilia was so overtaken by grief at the news of Summer's murder that she ignored everyone: her co- workers, her friends, her family, even her own fiance.
Josh had suggested Cecilia to take a vacation; that she needed one, and so did they. And thus, their engagement ended.
But instead of taking a vacation, Cecilia headed to Cordova. She was going to get to the bottom of this macabre mystery. She was going to track down her niece's killer, and make the bastard pay for even stepping a mile's distance from her family.
